Making a Difference Through Volunteering
At SCM Academy, we are proud to collaborate closely with our partner NGO, Sport Creates Memories (SCM), to create lasting change through football. Our volunteers are at the heart of this mission, dedicating their time and skills to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children across Africa. Through their support, we’re able to expand our reach, enhance our programs, and foster a stronger football community.

Our Collaboration with Sport Creates Memories
SCM Academy works hand-in-hand with Sport Creates Memories (SCM), an NGO that has already made a significant impact in Ghana and Kenya. SCM has established 90 football clubs, engaged over 9,000 players, and launched 14 competitive leagues, creating inclusive football communities where every child has the opportunity to participate.
Through our partnership, SCM Academy extends these efforts by integrating elite training with grassroots development. This collaboration ensures that while we focus on developing top talent at our academy, we also support and expand SCM’s grassroots initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to football as a tool for social change.
Our Volunteer Experiences
To date, we have hosted over 60 volunteers on trips with Sport Creates Memories. These dedicated individuals have played a crucial role in starting our 90 football clubs and have participated in visits to hospitals, orphanages, slum areas, and more. Their involvement has been instrumental in making a tangible difference in the communities we serve.
